PublicAI Joins Chainlink Build Program to Expand AI Data Infrastructure

PublicAI has joined the Chainlink Build program, the decentralised oracle network announced, in a move aimed at strengthening the security and reliability of PublicAI’s decentralised artificial intelligence data platform. The collaboration, disclosed this week, will give PublicAI access to Chainlink’s oracle services, technical support and new product releases, while committing part of its token supply to Chainlink service providers and stakers. Partnership Details As part of the program, PublicAI will gain access to the Chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE), a framework that supports advanced oracle applications. The company plans to use CRE for services such as trust and reputation scoring, dynamic risk assessments and prediction market resolution. In return, PublicAI has agreed to allocate a portion of its native token supply to Chainlink’s service providers, including stakers, over time. The structure is designed to align economic incentives between the two networks and encourage long-term cooperation. Chainlink’s Build program provides projects with enhanced oracle infrastructure and community support in exchange for network contributions, reinforcing cryptoeconomic security across the ecosystem. PublicAI’s Role in AI Data PublicAI operates a decentralised platform that connects millions of contributors who generate and validate training data for AI models. The platform integrates mechanisms such as skill verification and stake-slashing to maintain data integrity and discourage manipulation. The company says it aims to address concerns over the quality of synthetic data by focusing on human-crafted contributions. It currently counts more than 3 million global contributors and positions itself as a provider of authentic data for both AI systems and oracle networks. PublicAI also applies human input beyond training stages, extending to real-time inference where human judgment is used in decision-making. The approach is intended to keep people involved in the AI lifecycle as automation changes traditional job roles. Broader Context The integration with Chainlink marks PublicAI’s first formal participation in an external blockchain ecosystem program. By leveraging Chainlink’s infrastructure, PublicAI plans to expand use cases for decentralised AI data while securing access to Chainlink’s technical resources and early product releases. PublicAI co-founder Steven Wong said in a statement: “Joining the Chainlink Build program marks a pivotal moment in PublicAI’s mission to build the human layer of AI.” Chainlink Build has signed a number of projects since its launch, providing participants with advanced oracle solutions while creating reciprocal commitments to strengthen the network. With its entry, PublicAI becomes one of the latest AI-focused projects to align with Chainlink’s infrastructure, reflecting the growing overlap between decentralised networks and artificial intelligence applications.
